Award or no award, I appreciate all the happiness Ghibli’s movies have brought into my life (and the impact it has had on it too). The selfless and loving characters in their movies all inspire me to be a better person. And the fact that this is coming from something animated and not live action makes it all the more magical of a thing.
Art is contemplation. It is the pleasure of the mind which searches into nature and which there divines the spirit of which Nature herself is animated.
